1723 Tower THX review – LowBeats

The Arendal's bass was simply a sensation: with enormous power and blackness, it pushed bass drum and timpani hits into the listening room that it was just such a joy - an experience, without a doubt.

Wonderfully balanced but also transparent-sounding loudspeaker, whose sound appears unusually sublime because it is based on a very deep, solid bass.

“The 1723 Tower sounds really crisp, responsive and precise.”

But it is probably their effortless dynamics and their enormously clean, deep bass that, on the one hand, make the sound seem so relaxed, and on the other hand, reproduce live recordings with far more authenticity than almost all other speakers in this class.

And what I also particularly liked: The 1723 Tower was able to set the image quite high, while maintaining a stable center and a pleasing depth – this is also a virtue that speaks for the best hi-fi.

The Arendal’s bass was simply a sensation: with enormous power and blackness, it pushed bass drum and timpani hits into the listening room that it was just such a joy – an experience, without a doubt.

What the 1723 Tower does in terms of literal eardrum massage, with the volume cranked and electronic music from Yello or Underworld breaks most boundaries of imagination.

“Rarely do you get so much loudspeaker for your money.”

“Rarely have hi-fi and home cinema requirements been solved together so skillfully – and certainly not at a price below 4,000 euros.”
